  - Translate marketing strategy into channel strategy, defining guidelines for the trade operational plan
- Build and maintain the national channel database through integration & consolidation of channel
assessments from area managers
- Develop and implement a trade coverage plan for channel outlets
- Support business development manager in defining trade & route to market strategy, clarifying channel
outlets’ requirements
- Identify and obtain exclusive contracts with key strategic channel outlets for retail media
- Negotiate trading term with outlets in the best interest of the company and minimise commercial risks
- Ensure that objectives in terms of availability, visibility, volume and customer price of products are
- Increase levels of channel trade support and loyalty by enhancing understanding of channel trading
environment and establishing close working relations
- Coordinate implementation of brand and trade programmes in channel outlets
- Manage an efficient and effective channel team through on-job training, motivation and staff development
in order to deliver brand and trade programmes that are superior to the competition in this channel
- Manage budget for trade programmes developed for channel and operational expenses
- Propose goals and KPIs for the trade programmes developed for channel, and track ongoing results
- Ensure that channel team and trade partners are well-trained and aligned with BAT’s International
Marketing Standards, Global Channel Strategy and all Corporate Guidelines
- Champion innovation in development of trade programmes in order to ensure competitive advantage in
the horeca channel
- Ensure that horeca team captures innovative ideas from customers and consumers
  - A comprehensive understanding of the strategies and the implementation
- Effective management of material and respect of brand portfolio strategy
- Ability to analyze and interpret a broad range of trade and consumers data in order to develop and
implement Trade Marketing activities and strategies
- Good management of the team and human resources and financial planning
- Ability to manage Trade Marketing Development (TMD) strategy and contribute to the development and
the implementation of the strategy and planning process
- Analytical ability and quick solving problems with negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Leadership skills
- Holding a driving license
- Willing to be based in provinces
- The position requires a minimum of 2 years experience in FMCG
