  Our business partner is specialised in logistics software solutions for 3pl and 4pl service providers, transport companies and end users managing their own complex logistics activities.

As a trusted partner to many household names brands, we have created an unrivalled suite of software that provides true visibility across the supply chain and which is scalable to meet the needs of medium, large and international logistics operations. Now, we are needing one Import & Export Executive.

+ Responsibilities:
Responsible for all transactions related to imports and exports of all divisions and product lines of the company.
- Co-ordinates clearing and forwarding of all imports & exports for the company.
- Performs costing of all import shipments for goods in transit in the consignment data base.
Liaises with Finance Department for opening Letters of Credit, transfers, and Bank Delivery Order for shipment covered by L/C.
- Authorises our Freight forwarders to clear the goods in case of direct shipments.
- Co-ordinates for inspection and necessary survey in case shipments arrive in open/torn/wet/damaged condition.
- Attends inspection of damaged goods during transit at airport/seaport along with the Insurance company's representative.
- Obtain short lading certificate from Customs Authority.
Files Insurance claims and follows up for payments/credit note with the insurance company.
- Obtains all attested legal documents necessary for exports from Dubai Chamber of commerce and industry.
- Checks and verifies Freight Forwarder's invoices for both imports & exports, obtain approval from respective department Head and forwards these to Finance for payment

+ Requirement:

Minimum 2+ Years experience in handling clearing & forwarding, product costing and dealings with insurance company and customs.
- Good fluency in English; Some knowledge of Arabic preferred.
- Prevailing customs rules and regulations.
- Imports & exports procedures, customs/ bank/insurance documentations and formalities.
- Costing and pricing methodology.
- Warehousing procedures & inventory management.
- Logistics and freight industry.
- Procurement rules and regulations.
- Packaging products for shipping/delivery.
- Warehousing methodology.
- Preparing inventory management practices.

+ Conditions and Benefits:

- Working Time 8:00 am~5:00 pm
- Working Days Mon / Tue / Wed / Thu / Fri
- Holiday Sat (Full) / Sun / Legal holiday
- Salary $ 300 ~ $ 500
- Benefit is negotiable
