  1. To work closely with the General Manager in order to set company standards and policies.

2. To seek, select and recommend the best people for employment by contract.

3. To ensure excellence in service standards and training methods are achieved and maintained.

4. To maintain correct personal appearance and hygiene of all employees (operational and management) within the code of practice.

5. To maintain an appropriate working relationship with all employees and especially with respect to their cultural customs.

6. To ensure that the company’s policy in relation to rules and labour regulation is completely understood and followed by all employees.

7. Maintain and enforce correct operational standards concerning health, safety, and prevention and control of fire. Adhere to all requirements relating to licensing, operation and relationships to local departments and other which has to work with the directors’ board to implement legislative procedures mentioned.

8. Responsible for total hygiene and aesthetic cleanliness of all areas within the hotel and repairs and maintenance are regularly upheld.

9. To respond and implement to any change in the hotels operation as required by the directors’ board.

10. To ensure that each Division Manager performs his/her tasks as directed and specified in their job description.

11. To liaise with all Managers responsible for ordering replacement of glassware, cutlery, crockery, uniforms and linen as any other needs. All purchases must be approved by the general manager.

12. Ensure that the correct stock levels in bars and kitchens as stores are well maintained.

13. Analyze monthly asset, goods and stock-take results with Accounting Manager, Food and Beverage Manager, Executive Chef and other Department Heads.

14. Ensure good customer relations at all times. Deal with guests personally and ensure that existing relations are built upon and that the regular clientele of the business increased. Ensure business of all departments from service to management in smoothly operation.

15. To formulate with Sales and Marketing Manager a strong marketing/business strategy for the hotel in its entirety, including all of the hotels facilities.

16. To work with the Financial Controller and Accounting Departments to ensure accurate reports and Profit & Loss are delivered daily and monthly to the General Manager.

17. Ensure all statistics of the hotel are gathered, collated, monitored and reviewed regularly.

18. Hold structured weekly operation meeting with Department Managers.

19. Hold monthly General Meetings with all employees.

20. Responsible for total hotel security.

21. To ensure the accurate set - up and maintain all personnel systems and records including all annual leave and public holidays records as well as overtime, in accordance with the labour law and the labour regulation of hotel.

23. To undertake any other duties directed by the General Manager
