  - Utilizing staff and resources available, to organize and facilitate the highest possible standards of food service.

- Ensure concerns with product and service are communicated with the Senior Chef in Charge.

- Ensure self and staff display professional, friendly and helpful service to all guests and fellow staff members.

- Promote and encourage self and staff to follow the hotels visions, goals and values.

- Encourage clear communication lines and forums between all personnel.

- Consult with Sous Chef on personnel matters including hiring, evaluating, suspending, training and terminating

personnel.

- Implement and control procedures that provide for the security, health and safety of personnel and guests.

- Understand departmental requirements for emergency situations and be able to capably coordinate activities in an

emergency situation. Ensure key staff are trained to assist in these circumstances.

  - Reports directly to the Sous Chef.

- Supervises and directs kitchen personnel of a lower grade where required.

- Cooperates, coordinates and communicates closely with all Food and Beverage, Purchasing/Accounting and Front of

house staff.

Job Requirement

- Must have successfully completed a trade certificate in commercial cookery.

- Previous experience in a supervisory role preferred.

- Must have thorough knowledge of security, health and safety requirements in a commercial kitchen environment.

- Certification in Training Small Groups, Supervision and/or Health and Safety Standards an advantage.

- At least 3 years of working experience as Chef de Partie in hotels or any high class restaurant is preferable.

- Cambodian National with good command of the English and Khmer communication skills

- Understanding of the Kitchen System

- Reserving of food items

- Excellent understanding of food products
- Fully developed food knowledge
- Pleasant personality and healthy looking
- Be reliable, honest, and punctual
- Be able to work with flexible shift (afternoon/evening shift, and sometimes morning shift)
- Be eager to learn new things/ skills
