  *** Responsibilities:

 Provides, maintains complete knowledge of and complies with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
 Composes, edits and types Managing Director’s correspondence.
 Takes and transcribes dictation and written drafts of correspondence and other documents from the Managing Director in an accurate and confidential manner.
 Schedules appointments for Managing Director.
 Updates and maintain Managing Director’s daily appointment calendar.
 Takes and transcribes minutes at Executive meetings.
 Maintains all files as they relate to the department, both accurately and confidentially.
 Interacts in courteous and professional manner with guests, customers, vendors and associates.
 Applies principles of rational thinking to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
 Interprets and complies with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic or schedule form.
 Models the hotel’s culture, vision, mission and core values at all times.
 All other duties as required.

  *** Qualifications:

 Minimum four years of administrative secretarial experience with at least six months experience in a supervisory role.
 University graduate with majoring in language (English) is preferred.
 General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with
minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel ata.
 Technical Skills: Ability to type at least 60 words per minute; proficiency with Microsoft Office products; proficiency in the operation of standard office equipment.
 Ability to answer phone calls in a friendly and courteous manner.
 Neat appearance.
 Motivator and self-starter.
 Displays initiative.
 Commitment to professional values.
 Team builder.
 Language: Good command in oral and written English, other languages is preferred.
