  - Work with the management team to develop a training and development framework and source content that reflects the priorities according to role
- Create a simple, easy to manage set of processes and tools to enable consistent application of training and development activities
- Ensure the application of best practice training and development methodologies is balanced with practical delivery tactics
- Induction: ensure all employees experience an on-boarding process that equips them effectively to take on their position
- Research and develop appropriate training and development solutions in line with the Bank’s strategy,
- Identify suitable training centre or external training providers for the Bank
- Assist Head of HR and staff with career development discussions and the development of individual development plans and monitor to ensure action
- Ensure performance management review processes conform with the Bank’s policy
- Support the Head of HR in conducting the Calibration process and appropriate follow up with the business
- Assist Head of HR in implementing effective succession for key/critical roles
- Work with management team to ensure key Talents are provided appropriate development activities
- Execute the agreed training and development plan and track and report progress on a monthly basis
- Maintain efficient tracking and record management systems in relation to external suppliers and recipients of outsourced training and development
- Provide regular performance reporting on progress/results to key stakeholders
- Identify training and development budget requirements
- Develop and deploy a communications strategy that will generate a feeling of excitement and enthusiasm for training and development within the business
  - Tertiary qualifications in a business or related discipline
- At least 3 years general HR experience in a large organisation
- Sound knowledge of ER & HR issues, policies and legislation
- Good working knowledge and skills in training and development needs analysis, design and delivery
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively – adapting communication styles to suit different situations, and employing active listening skills with stakeholders
- Proven ability to interact at all levels of an organisation
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
