1. Assist with the preparation of all food in his assigned kitchen.

2. Prevent food spoilage through checks and ensure that all incoming and outgoing food items are up to agreed standards.

3. Have a reasonable knowledge of all menus being offered in the respective kitchen at any one time.

4. Ensure that all conducted training of food preparations, hygiene and grooming standards is understood and followed by him.

5. Ensure that all kitchen Miss en Place is prepared according to production plan.

6. Check food storage areas and refrigerators for cleanliness and proper functioning and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.

7. To ensure constant rotation of all stocks in the kitchens.

8. To ensure highest standards of hygiene are always adhered to throughout food preparation.

9. Responsible for the cleanliness of respective section.

10. Ensure all equipment is cleaned regularly.

11. Always keep workstations clear, clean and tidy.

12. Ensure Miss en Place is always done according to minimum operating standards.

13. Assist in other food production areas as and when required.

14. Actively participate in all training activities.

15. Ensure full cooperation with all other service colleagues and departments.

16. Participate and serve guests during outside catering as and when assigned.

17. Perform any other duties as required by the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Sous Chef or Chef de Partie from time to time.

Waiter/Waitress
1) Check guests' identification in order to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.

2) Collect payments from customers.

3) Write guests' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.

4) Take orders from guests for food or beverages.

5) Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.

6) Serve food and/or beverages to patrons; prepare and serve specialty dishes at tables as required.
