  Overview and Purpose of Role

- Advise on interpretation of procurement policy, providing expert advice and guidance to Delivery, Finance, Commercial and Infrastructure Teams
- Shape and influence the company’s procurement policy and strategies, to ensure that they are consistent with and support key stakeholders’ and partners’ priorities

Duties and Responsibilities
- Working with suppliers to ensure that key processes are running efficiently and cost-effectively
- Building strong working relationships both internally and with key suppliers
- Contract management and negotiation
- Ensure policy and processes implemented across the organisation comply with procurement regulations
- Manage the provision of policy and programme implementation in relation to procurement and performance management information including risk analysis and evaluation of policy and programmes
- Ensure compliance to project budgets and provide analysis of deviations
- Develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification
- Establish new relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adequate resources for all projects and to continually improve pricing and quality of work
- Leverage technology, safety measures, and information sharing to increase productivity and profitability
- Assist in settling invoice or contract disputes
- Planning of Material/ Logistics for fulfilment of materials requirement for new sites, sharing and old sites upgradations and assurance of timely procurement and deliveries
- Other works as required by superior
