** Functions/Key Results Expected
The Receptionist will work closely with the Embassy staff, and will perform the following functions:
1. Responsible for answering all incoming calls;
2. Registering outgoing and incoming letters based on alphabetical order;
3. Greet visitors giving general information in response to inquiries; delivers oral and written messages to Ambassador/Diplomats/office staff;
4. Ordering office supplies, files documents, make photocopies, send and receive faxes:
5. Files correspondence, memoranda, reports and other materials alphabetically, numerically or by other prescribed method;
6. Maintains routine clerical records, logs and data and compiles routine reports;
7. Operates office equipment, such as copiers, calculators, word processors, typewriters, data terminals, microfilm equipment or other equipment found in work unit;
8. Word processes/types routine letters, labels, reports and similar items from rough draft or clear copy;
9. Processes documents or forms according to instructions;
10. Delivers items to other offices or locations;
11. Assist the Embassy with scanning, photocopying and filing of all relevant documents, as assigned;
12. Maintain and update files (both paper and electronic) and database work units;
13. Assist in work process and relation with the local Government Ministries or Department;
14. Facilitate communication and follow-up with Cambodian Government officials, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Diplomatic and Consular Missions, the Delegation of the European Union, United Nations and Its Specialized Agencies, International Organizations, development partners, and other institutions involved or supported the Embassy mission;
15. Assist human resource functions (i.e. collecting CVs and performance appraisal reports, assisting in recruitment procedures, etc.)
16. Assist the preparation of trainings, workshops and other events;
17. Setting up meeting rooms with refreshments and clearing when finished;
18. Maintaining the office stock and facilities;
19. Welcome visitors and guests in a professional manner;
20. Keep records of mail-in and mail-out secretly;
21. Keep secret all the Embassy’s documents and related references;
22. Ensure the receptionist area is clean, friendly, and professional;
23. Perform other duties as requested by the Embassy.

** Education:
- High School Diploma, Or
- Other equivalent in the areas related to receptionist functions.

** Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years work experience as a Receptionist or an Administration Assistant;
- Previous work as a Reception/Administration experience or customer service is highly encouraged to apply.

** Expertise:
- Candidate should be excellent communicator and administrator, strong attention to detail and ability to do multi task. The candidates must also comfortably interact and communicate with individuals of all professional levels by two languages/bilingual, English and Khmer.

** Competencies:
- Have a high loyalty in serving as a Receptionist;
- Must be honest and keep confidentiality;
- Awareness and responsibility towards her profession as a Receptionist;
- Active working towards continuing personal learning and development in one or more practice areas, acts on learning plan and applying newly acquired skills;
- Ability to perform a variety of standard Receptionist tasks, including collection and compilation of Embassy documentations, filing, provision of information;
- Good inter-personal and teamwork skills, networking aptitude, ability to work in multicultural environment, and ability to work in a team;
- Consistent working with energy and a positive, constructive attitude;
- Patience in performing tasks and jobs, including in the additional working hours/extra time;
- Remaining calm, in control and good humoured, even under pressure.
** Language Skills & Proficiency:
- Good knowledge of English and Khmer (good in speaking, writing, listening and reading);
- Other foreign/global languages are required as additional values.

- Knowledge of office telephone etiquette;
- Skill in following verbal and written instructions;
- Skill in basic filing and record keeping;
- A friendly and positive work approach;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Handles customer complaints effectively and efficiently;
